What Causes Pain In The Upper Abdomen Radiating To The Back?
Hello I ve been having pain in my upper abdomen which radiates to my back. Ive had all sorts of tests done in the last year that tell me I m normal. I had a scope done and showed all was good about 4 years ago... but still i get the pain. Ive been told its my anxiety?
Pain in the upper abdomen and radiating to the back possibly on the right side suggestive of gallbladder stone. It may or may not be associated with vomiting and other gastro-related problems.
If you didn't experience any gastrointestinal tract problem like vomiting, belching, flatulence etc. then it may be some musculoskeletal problems.
Kindly visit your physician to rule out after a proper examination while you are experiencing the pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Senthilnathan Subramanian,
