What Causes Pain In The Upper Abdomen?

Hi i just wanna ask about the pain i felt in my upper left stomach. It started a week ago and it continues up until now. It s just a little pain but it makes me uncomfortable especially when i m lying in bed. Is this pain related from my hyper acidity or what. I m just a little bit bothered about this. And i hope that maybe you can explain to me what is happening inside . Thanks

you need not worry much about your pain.... it's most common problem many of outpatients complains of... the pain you described which is more on lying down is more in favour of hyperacidity ...your pain is of one week only... that's not a bad sign.... you can take medication for symptomatic treatment and few weeks course which your general practitioner prescribes and take some preventive measures like try to stick on to your diet time schedule and have small meals in intervals rather than heavy meals at a time. cut short fatty foods, if you drink alcohol lessen your number of drinks per week.. may I know if you have any queries ... hope you feel better now.... have a good health...
