Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had some upper back pain on the left side for a few days that seems to move around to my chest, all on the left side. I also have experienced a few bouts with shortness of breath. I was partially paralyzed from the chest down fifteen years ago, but the current discomfort does not seem to be related to that. The pain feels like a pulled muscle.
As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. We have to rule out possible spine related problems also.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
