What Causes Pain In The Upper Back And Numbness In The Right Arm?

I have Degenerative Disk in my Cervical spine. I had previous surgery on the area 12 years go. About 3 weeks ago I started having sudden severe pain in my upper back accompanied by numbness and tinging in my right arm and nausea. Should I be worried? My doctor doesn t seem to be.

This could just be due muscular spasm. Try putting warm compress on the affected area, for approximately 5-10 minutes for at least 3-4 times a day and see if it improves.
