Hi, I have a pain in my upper buttocks and because of this it hurts more when I try to lift my left leg. It also acts up if I sit upright in a chair for a period of time BUT when I m walking around, squating down, and kifting boxes, for 8 hours at work I do not feel the pain. Anything you could tell based off of my description ? Thank you
Pain over the upper gluteal area has aggravated by movements and work. It could be due to lumbar spondylosis. Nerve roots may have been compressed by a lumbar disc prolapse. Take an X-ray of the Lumbar spine AP/LAT view and consult an orthopedic surgeon.
