Pain in chest with belching is most likely from the stomach. I would suggest you should take some antacids like Gaviscon 3 times, and acid suppression drugs like omeprazole for 2 weeks.
Also, avoid spicy foods and drinks. Hope this would be fine. Otherwise, see your doctor for proper assessment and management.
