What Causes Pain In The Upper Left Side Within Minutes After Eating?

after dinner last night i started to feel pain on my upper left side under my ribs, i thought it was gas but it was much more painful...took my breath away. it lasted about 5-10 min getting worse and then i started to feel sick like i was going to pass out followed by cold sweat and i turned pale like i was going to throw up or have diareah... then i layed down and it passed and i felt fine

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that generally these symptoms appear after spicy or heavy food but if you are obese, diabetic or hypertensive then you should get a basic cardiac evaluation done.
