My wife is Experiencing moderate pain in the upper left side of her back, just below the shoulder blade, where her main horizontal bra strap is. Left to right it is between her armpit and her spine. It came on gradually since Sunday. She says has worsened and it is spasming off and on.
As per your query you have pain in upper right of the back which is going worse . Well there can be many reason for symptoms you mention in query like musxle spasm of back . pain due to trigger points of trapezius muscle , cerviral spondolysis , shoulder joint problem , lung infection , cardiac problem or lymphadenopathy in armpits . I would suggest you to take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and swelling , do light stretching exercises of upper back and shoulder , apply warm compresses on affected area or start physical therapy of back . Consult orthopedic surgeon for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order X-ray or CT scan . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant along with supplements . Doctor may also refer you to chest specialist or cardiologist .
