What Causes Pain In The Vaginal After Insertion Of Copper T?

hi doctor, i am 25 year old, delivered a baby girl 3 months ago... I just got copper T inserted in me to avoid pregnancy ahead for an year or so.. its been a week i have done that.. since yesterday i can seen the wire in my vagina.. its little hurting me ..i feel like its poking in my vagina. is this normal..? how long will that wire be there? how do i get rid of that problem? please help...

Hi, I think you should consult a gynecologist. I think your wire may need a cut. It should be around 1 cm in length outside the is. So, get yourself examined if the length is causing the problem or there is any other cause of it. Hope it helps.
