What Causes Pain In The Wrist And Elbow?

Hi. 25 years ago I had pain in my wrist. It went away and I had the pain in my elbow. It went away and I had the pain in my shoulder. It went away and then I had the pain in the back of my neck. I finally went to the Dr. and I believe it was some type of virus?? The Dr. asked more than once if I had been up in the mountains or a wooded area. I had not. I am now going through the same thing with first my finger joint, my hips, and now a thumb joint. Pain lasts 5-7 days then is gone and it pops up in another joint. Do you know what this could be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, the multiple joints involving pain indicate systemic inflammatory response to underlying immune problem as arthritis or else.

I recommend to consult an expert Rheumatologist for further evaluation and guidelines to cure it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
