Hello and welcome to HCM,
Development of bruise on the thigh is most commonly caused due to trauma.
Thus, is there any past history of trauma to the thigh?
If yes then trauma is the probable cause.
If there is no such history and bruise has developed spontaneously, then it may be due to some platelet related disorder or disorder of coagulation factors.
I suggest you to get some investigations like complete hemogram with platelet count, bleeding time, clotting time, prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time to assess the platelets and the coagulation system.

Thanks and take care
