What Causes Pain In Throat Radiating Towards Sternum?
I choked on crispy chicken skin from fried chicken that gave me pain from my throat to my sternum when I finally got it up after coughing to try to force it up some I brought up some bright red blood and now Ifeel like I have a gas bubble that is causing me pain

Yes, exactly. Its usually the gas bubble unless you have some other pathology.
For symptomatic relief we usually prescribe Tab Pantoprazole 40mg + Tab Domperidone 10mg SR for this condition.
Also did you aspirate any blood? If not, its great.
To be on safer side, we will still advise you to get an endoscopy done as the blood was bright red, that points to a fresh/recent bleeding. Site of bleeding will be important for further management.
