Hi,
Swollen or inflamed thyroid might present as pain in the neck. This condition is called
Thyroiditis which might lead to pain in the neck only on one lobe or whole of thyroid which might also spread to pain in jaw or ears. If there is swelling it will lead to difficulty in swallowing, hoarseness of voice etc.
Thyroid cancer might also present as pain.
As per your query "at that time i have problem of conceiving and after issuing child in 2004 and in 2007 I took thyroxine for about 2 years and then I left. Now, I feel pain on left lobe of thyroid gland" I understood that you are not on thyroxine now.
It is not advisable to stop taking Thyroxine without doctor's advice. It might increase your TSH leading to
hypothyroidism which leads to many problems like fatigue,
constipation, weight gain, dryness of the body or irregular menstrual bleeding etc.
Kindly visit an
endocrinologist for investigations like Thyroid profile, Ultrasound neck or a biopsy (if required).
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
