What Causes Pain In Upper Abdominal Area After Drinking Juices?

I get this pain that occurs above the abdomen area. It started when I was in my late 30s. Now I m in my mid 50s. I could drink certain juices and noticed a sharp pain that would last 10 min, then go away. I noticed a few weeks ago, after drinking a sweet alcohol beverage, it did the same thing. Last night, I was eating an abundance amount of watermelon and it did the same thing. Just wanting to get a general idea of what it could be prior of me going to the doctor, the possibilities of what it might be. After reading the outcome, I am okay. No need to answer. Thanks

Hello,

This probably either an inflammation at the upper part of the stomach or a reflux disease, in either ways you need to take nexium tab 40 mg once per day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman
