Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has a very tender/sore area - upper rib cage - that is causing him pain. It hurts sometimes when he breathes, but not always and hurts pretty badly when he lays down in bed. These are not the only times it is painful, but the pain is not consistent. Thinking it might be a pulled muscle, but not sure how to tell if it is something else.
It might be due to inflammation of the intercostal muscles commonly known as intercostal fibromyalgia. It can occur due to a number of factors like exertion, or some sudden atmospheric changes. You can consult a nearest homoeopath who can do much better in this case.
