What Causes Pain In Upper Stomach Radiating To Lower Back?

Hi, I have pain in my upper stomach which radiates to my back around my kidneys. I had approached my doctor several months ago. He thought it might be an ulcer. He prescribed Nexium if the condition continued. It went away but I recently took Ibrofen for several days and now the stomach pain has returned. Should I get the prescription filled?

You need to get an upper GI Endoscopy done to look for the ulcer and if it isn't healed. Sometimes the inner can perforate and cause more trouble such cannot be treated by single medication.
