What Causes Pain In Upper Torso When I Sneeze Or Cough?
I week ago I fell down a flight of stairs. I'm a 41 y/o with cardiomyopathy and an icd. My sternum feels like it is fractured or bruised. I have no problem with my breathing, I sleep fine and I have no swelling in my legs. My chest feels like I got punched very hard but it only hurts when I rotate my upper torso and it hurts a lot when I sneeze or cough. No pain with normal breathing. Only hurts when I move cough or sneeze.

take some rest warm water phomantation over sternum. apply analgesic ointment over sternum. take combiflam tablet twice daily after food.
