Hello,

The following are few causes of your pain after hysterectomy:
1) Residual ovarian syndrome (ROS) is a complication after hysterectomy in which one or both ovaries been preserved and cause chronic pelvic pain, an asymptomatic pelvic mass, or dyspareunia(pain with intercourse).
2) Chronic pain following hysterectomy is reported in 10-50% of women.

Pelvic floor physical therapy is recommended to improve the mobility of fascia and scar tissue in pelvic and improve blood circulation thus relieving pain. You need to consult a Physical therapist. Try to understand that you don't have any underlying pathology but due to tightening of scar tissue and decreased blood circulation, you are experiencing pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

General & Family Physician Dr. Priyanka's  Response
Hi,

The pain you are experiencing may be related to nerve damage or scar tissue from the surgery. An infection or other underlying condition may also cause it. It would be a good idea to follow up with your doctor to discuss your symptoms and potential treatment options. They may also refer you to a specialist for further evaluation and management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
