What Causes Pain In Vaginal Area During Pregnancy?

hi, i m currently 17 weeks pregnant , and havin pain in right side of vaginal area, its like poking sensation, some time its sharp some time normal. i been having this for almost 1 or more. i feel this when i m stand or walk, even when i m changing my position at night. when i try to walk it feel like pain, is that normal for some people it is but i dont know what to do, can u please help me

Hi,

You need to see your gynecologist to check if it is some swelling of vaginal gland (in the position you describe). If it is you would need medicines to control it. In absence of swelling it can be some fetal pressure on local nerve causing pain in particular positions which would go as the fetus grows up in abdominal cavity. Please consult the doctor.
