What Causes Pain Inside Head And Numb Feeling In Brain?

I have been diagnosed with Small Vessel Ishemic Stroke Disease. I have had many strokes in the past 5 years. I am on Aggrenox. Lately it actually hurts my head to think. Unlike most people my brain seems numb. Almost totally blank. To be honest even when I pray it actually hurts the inside of my head. What is wrong, am I gettinng dementia?

Hello,

Your problems most likely arise from high blood pressure or unstable blood pressure. So, in order to prevent further brain damage and to improve your symptoms, blood pressure should be maintained within normal ranges. Blood thinners such as aspirin also should be used.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
