As you are too old and your history suggests I will say you are suffering from osteoarthritis of knee as it is very common above 60 years of age.For this you have to take some pain killer like tab Biozobid-plus or tab Zerodol-SP twice daily after meals with some calcium supplements like tab Shalcal 500 mg or tab toscal-gem once daily. You also have to take hyaluronic acid or gluco-corticoid intra-articular injections regularly. Non pharmacological measure are weight loss if overweight, aerobic exercises, regular physiotherapy and knee bracing. If pain is still severe even after conservative therapy or if there is any deformity or limitation of daily living activities than one have to go for surgical intervention.
