What Causes Pain Near Shoulder Blade While Coughing?

i have recently been coughing alot, but just today, the side near my right shoulderblade began to hurt. it would hurt when i breathed in to cough, and also when i sat down, stood up, bent foward, bent backward, jump, so on. I think it may be because of my fencing sport posture, but if thats not it, is it because of the coughing?
