i am having pains near my left kidney that stretch all the way forward into my lower abdomen and upper abdomen. my stomach is distended and it hurts to press down on it, especially in the middle towards my esophagus. i also have a pretty high fever and the chills. I went to the ER yesterday and all my ultrasounds and blood work came back clean, but I m not feeling any better.
Pain in the left kidney radiating to lower & upper abdomen can be pancreatitis, diverticulitis, IBS, gastroenteritis, appendicitis, etc. Get clinically assessed & blood tests done to correlate the pathology causing you discomfort. Get treated at the earliest. In the meantime, take small quantity of food multiple times a day. Avoid spicy, oily food. Cut on addictions if any. Take antacids, PPI"s for relieve. Avoid constipation, take laxatives at bed time. Stay well hydrated. Your treatment will depend on the severity of the symptoms and pathology detected.
