Hello,

The pain seems to be related to muscular tension. In this case taking paracetamol and ibuprofen might help and also local compresses and gentle massage.
Sometimes bad posture or problems with the bed and pillows can affect the muscles of the back and neck and cause pain in the back of the head.

Some exercises might help and a physiotherapist can give you the proper exercises for you.

If these measures do not help or you notice any worsening then you will need to see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
