What Causes Pain On Left Side Of The Body Along With Anal Discharge?
My husband of 21 years has been complaining of pain on his L side, front to back (large intestine area); also has discharge/leakage from anus, no blood, looks like poo but thin/watery. He is heavy; 260-70. His father has history of polyps & other medical things with his bowels/anus. I do hope your advice/answer is not a lot of money. Thank you for your time & understanding.. Pain on the left side of the body may be due to diverticulitis (colon issues). Other medical conditions that may cause such pain are muscle strain, overuse, poor posture, spinal issues, etc. You are suggested to get your husband clinically examined by a GP, get all blood, urine & stool tests along with the required imaging tests done.
Anal discharge may be due to anal fissure, haemorrhoids, perianal abscess, etc. For abdominal pain he can take antacid, PPI's & spasmol, one sos when required. He can take sitz bath for ana relieve. His treatment (medicines or surgery) will depend on the reports obtained & clinical conditions.
