General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Due to the history of trauma in the past and also the feeling of something sticking out at the side of the nose, it is a good idea to have a check of it.

It is likely some structural damage or broken bones can be the cause of the symptoms you are experiencing and the doctor needs to do a careful examination and sometimes X-rays might be helpful if broken nose bone is suspected so to make the diagnosis properly.

According to the findings, the doctor will decide on further treatment and plan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
