What Causes Pain On Right Side Of The Throat?
i have pain on right side of throat for about a month now. shown to general physician in Houston and he said it might be minor tonsillitis. Main thing is pain is there only while i swallow and if i touch the throat with my fingers and then swallow then there is no pain. i am on amoxicillin rite now.

i read your problem ,as throatpain has many causes ,but most commonly throat pain is due to to inflammation in tonsils/ or pharynx -these are inside parts of throat ,as Dr already examined you ,so he is right if he examined your throat and make diagnosis ,tonsillitis can cause similar symptoms which you mentioned , so avoid very cold food/drinks,and spicy food ,take soft diet..for pain Dr can prescribe you paracetamole/panadol tab. ,along with amoxicillin for 5 days.
