What Causes Pain On The Back After Standing For A Long Period?

My symptoms.... back, hips, knee become painful on standing for long periods and normal physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs. I have always been very physical. My legs become very stiff on sitting. I don t take any medications. My back was diagnosed with osteoarthritis about 10 years ago but I avoid actions which activate it. My legs hips and knee have become challenging in the last six months. I push through the pain through determination. I suspect that the hips and knee are also osteoarthritis . My question is .Could this be anything else?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is just a muscular pain.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
