What Causes Pain On The Left Side Of The Back Just Above The Waistline?
I am hurting in my left back above the waistline for the past couple of hours. It is becoming more intense. I thought it might be my kidney, but may be a little high for a kidney. In the past, I had a severe UTI that was discovered when my right kidney began to hurt in my back.

Left kidney is a little higher than right kidney so it might be kidney pain. I'd recommend you do complete urine examination to check for infection and pus cells to rule out urinary tract infection (UTI) and also do an ultrasound to rule out urinary stones.
