What Causes Pain On The Left Side Of The Hips?

At night, laying on my left side, after about 15 minutes and start getting pain in my left hip that radiates down my whole leg to my ankle. It also hurts at other times behind my left knee. Any idea what this could be? I have to take ibeprofen every night, but sometimes it doesn t seem to be helping.

Hi thank you for querry.
sciatica
in your case the pain started from back and goes down its sciatica pain its a neaurogenic pain which is due to some time compression of nerve you must go for X Ray lumbosacral spine Ap and lateral view and MRI if required later on and some medicine are helpful such as pregablin or gabapentin for neaurogenic pain so consult a neurologist for mangement.
