I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem. After a procedure on heart there can be an inflammatory process in which a person can get mild fever till 99 F like you are having but if this keeps on happening do contact your doctor again and discuss about possibility of having infective endocarditis.
If this is inflammation this will settle in 4 to 5 days with using voltaren but if it stays there after 5 days do contact your doctor.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you.
Regards, Dr. Muhammad Ahmad
