Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
ive been having pain/ache in my right hip for over a year. I was told it could be sciatic nerve. so I went to a chiropractor and ive been having sum adjustments. some relief but stil having issues. im not real sure if it is the sciatic nerve cause I only experience pain/ache on the side of the hip. I have had the lower part of my back to bother me but only once. ive had the tingling sensation down my leg and foot a few times. I clean at night and I work(sit) in a office during the day. I know sitting for long periods of time isn t good and I was also told using a vacuum cleaner isn t good either due to rotation of the hips. I think certain foods can cause immflammation. I just don t want to be going to a chiropractor for this issue if it isn t a sciatic nerve issue. thank you for any help/advice u can give on what u think the real issue may be.

What Causes Pain On The Right Hip?
Hello, It could be a neuropathic pain as in case of sciatica. As first-line management, you can take analgesics like gabapentin. If symptoms persist better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI scan. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
