What Causes Pain On The Right Side Of The Body After A Concussion?
Dr. Rynne I live in Wisconsin and fell on the ice 1 week ago. I fell onto my back and hit the back of my head. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with a concussion. Since that time, I have been experiencing a sharp pain on my right side. I only experience the pain when I try to raise my self up from a lying position.

1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [Neurologist] and to confirm present status do an MRI scan.
2) If confirmed then for headaches discuss with your Doctor about [Amitriptyline] and you need it regularly to prevent headaches.
Do follow few preventive steps to avoid injury in future:
1) Fasten your seat belt whenever you're traveling in a car.
2) Try to use helmets whenever you are bicycling, roller-skating, in-line skating, ice-skating, skiing, snowboarding, playing football, batting or running the bases in softball or baseball, skateboarding, or horseback riding.
3) Take steps around the house to prevent falls, such as removing small area rugs, improving lighting and installing handrails.
