What Causes Pain On The Right Side Of The Groin Area?
over the last few days I had a pain in my groin. To be specific, near my pubic bone at the right side of the base of my penis. After poking around down there I found a ligament that was tight and runs from my pubic bone up the side of my penis, to the underside of my glans. If I stretch my penis to my left side you can see it taught. Never had anything like this before. I am 52yrs old and in very good health
Noted your history well and understood that you have pain on the right side at pubic area, the base of the penis on the right side. This is probably inflammation of the corpora cavernosa transforming into crura.
I would advise you the following:
* Do not do any activity that causes erection of penis as this can increase inflammation.
* Consult your doctor for proper clinical examination so the a proper diagnosis and further management can be done.
* Ask for Amitriptyline so that the erection is avoided.
* No sexual activity till you get cured.
Another possibility of tendon inflammation of the gracilis and pubic tendinitis too has to be borne in mind, discuss about this with your doctor.
I hope this answer helps you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
