What Causes Pain On The Right Side Of The Head?

Hi when I wake up at night but not every night I see very tiny clot blood in my mouth, recently I was getting a pain in the right side of the head with pain to the eye and the nostril on that side feels funny once I wash out my mouth it doesn t occur again, I also have some bad dentures. When I take migraine tablets it would go away. Could I get an answer to this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
I have read and understood your concern
One sided headache as you describe is probably caused by a primary headache like migraine or a nevralgia. I will suggest you continue with your migraine drugs when you have pains. However, if symptoms persist for long, you see a Neurologist for evaluation.
As for blood clot in your mouth at night, it may not be related to your headache. But since you admit to having a bad denture, i will suggest you see a Dentist for examination.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health. You may write back if more concerns
Best regards
