Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain On The Right Side Of The Lower Body?
I have pain on my right lower side. It only bothers me when I stand up. It idoes not get any more painful when I push on it and suddenly let go. Again, when I sit down, there is no pain. I have had several bowel movements with no obvious signs of diarrhea but quite a bit of gas. My temperature is normal.
The pain you feel on your right lower side bothering when standing up could be due to gas/bloating you are experiencing. I believe you suffer from constipation.
I advise to take:
- probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
- simethicone to ease gas
- avoid foods that would increase gas
If still no change, should see your doctor as might need further examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
