What Causes Pain On The Right Side Of The Rib Cage?

i have pain on my right ribs for 2 days , feels like i strained something , also feels almost bruised, although i have had no injury. mostly at bottom right bib area. though if it was astrain i would feel a little better now 2 days later, not no... any ideas?

Hi..Can understand your concern..As per your query about pain in right side of rib cage can be due to gall bladder stone or it may be a simple gastritis pain. Gall bladder stone can occur due to bile juice stagnancy...But to rule out the exact cause you have to go for investigation ultrasound and consult a physician.For the time being you should take tablet of ranitidine 150 mg if you're suspecting gastritis and acidity.I hope the information helps you.You are welcome on HCM to have any further query.Take care.
