What Causes Pain On The Roof Of The Mouth While On Mucinex?
I just came back from Florida 4 days ago. I have a very bad cough, not productive, congestion and feel miserable. I started taking Mucsinex. Which is helping. My question is the roof of my mouth is hurting, and my tougue and throat have white spots Should I be concerned?
White spots on tongue and throat along soreness of roof of mouth is due to Infection only and it is appearing to be probably Viral.. Nothing to worry as the infection will subside the inflammation and pain will also subside.. For now to relieve pain start gargling with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine. Take a combination of anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen. Do warm saline gargles. Avoid hot, spicy and sharp foods.. Drink plenty of cool and bland fluids..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
