What Causes Pain On The Testicle With A History Of Testicular Cancer?
I AM A 48 YEAR OLD WHITE MALE WITH A STABBING PAIN IN MY RIGHT TESTICLE, FOR THE LAST 3 WEEKS. I HAD TESTICULAR CANCER IN MY LEFT TESTICLE IN 2005, WENT THRU RADIATION. HAVE SEEN MY UROLOGIST HE GAVE ME CIPRO FOR 14 DAYS. HAD ULTRASOUND DONE AND TECH SAID THAT I HAD A VARICOCLE, BUT I LOOKED IT UP AND THEY SAY THAT IT IS VERY UNCOMMON FOR THIS IN THE RIGHT TESTICLE
Hi. Noted your history of your age being 48 and had cancer of the left testicle for which you have been treated by radiation. Now you have stabbing pain in the right testicle and ultrasonography shows a large varicocele. This is not uncommon as you have been told. This can be large as there is a compensatory hyper trophy of the right testicle and that is why increased blood supply and drainage. I would advise you: Semen analysis. Surgery for the large varicocele.
