What Causes Pain On The Tips Of The Fingers And Toes?

HI. I m a 50 y/old female. I ve had increasing symptoms over the last 9 months, of pain in my finger tips and toes. The pain is like a throbbing ache, but it is painful, although not sharp pain. It comes and goes. I saw my MD when it started and she had no input. I am concerned that it is a developing condition but Ihave no clue what it may be. I am quite healthy, 135 lbs, 5 2 , good heart and blood pressure, nothing is wrong except this. I do have arthritis, recently I developed a blow out in the sinovial system that is evidenced by a gel filled bump on my index finger. The hand md told me it is a confirmation that I have arthritis. If there is a developing condition I would like to know and know how best to handle it. Thanks for your help!!!

So your symptoms point towards either arthritis of small bones n joints or vasculitis. You will require evaluation for both after clinical examination. Both condition are treatable and there is nothing to worry about.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
