What Causes Pain Radiating From Neck To Lower Half Of Head?

I m experiencing pain ranging from my neck to the mid lower half of my head. Only on the left side. I was in the hospital and they told me it was a muscle strain. But muscle relaxant and anti-inflammatory are not helping . What could it be. I m also having difficulty getting out of bed because of the pressure I m putting on my neck.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the reason could be poor posture, because of this muscle gets spasm, if I would be your consulting physician then I would treat this with "Tab Chlorzoxazone with Diclofenac" once in day, if this fails to responds then you need to try physiotherapy, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
