What problems you are describing about your partner of having pain, redness and swelling in vagina after an episode of intercourse could have been caused due to inflammatory reaction occurred due to mechanical irritation from lack of lubrication. Kindly wash the area with cold water twice daily and with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon. Ask her to take Tablet. Ibuprofen after food, which should reduce the pain and inflammation. She needs to apply hydrocortisone cream on the areas where swelling is present twice daily after washing and drying and at bed time. Kindly wear loose fitting undergarments and abstain from sexual activities till the lesions heal completely.
