Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Pain on left side of the rib cage may not be associated with prior mastectomy with sentinal lymph node biopsy. The pain may be muscular in origin. I suggest you to consult your surgeon for clinical assessment and thus treatment of the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
