What Causes Pain Under Right Lower Rib Radiating Towards The Back?

Hi I have been having a pain under my right lower rib which radiates to my back. I also from time to time get a pain in my upper mid stomach but I also get a little gurggling in my lower right back. Now I have been to emergency for this and they feel it s acid reflux or could be an ulcer. They have done urine, blood, and a ct scan and everything has come back fine. I am waiting for insurance to kick in May but until then I d thought I d ask your opinion. Thank you.

There are variety of medical conditions which may cause pain under right lower rib including Strain on the Intercostal Muscles ,Gallstones ,Costochondritis ,Liver Problems , Pancreatitis , Acid Reflux and Ulcers or Inflammatory Bowel Disease but as you already have been diagnosed with Acid Reflux and Ulcers there should not be any doubt about it now

all of your investigations including CT scan , Urine and Blood work have came back normal so there should be no worry now as most probably this pain was caused by hyper acidity and gastric ulcers and this is very well treatable with medications and diet restrictions for few days

i would strongly suggest you to follow the treatment plan suggested by your dr and keep treatment continue until you become complete normal again
