I have been experiencing a pain under my right breast running down the inner rib cage for about a year. It's tender to the touch & a little swollen. There is also aching pain in my upper back. Coughing makes the pain worse but not deep breathing. I have had a severe, strong cough especially when I lay down, which keeps the household up at times. My doctor did an ultrasound and only found a fatty liver & my gallbladder was removed about 9 months ago. I am a smoker with Barrett's esophagus. Any suggestions?
