What Causes Pain Under The Left Foot Accompanied By Bleeding?

Hi. The bottom of my left foot started hurting earlier today as I do not recall how it happened. When I looked at it, I saw some blood. I put a bandage once wiping off with damp cloth. I just now checked it after about 7 Hours and saw a totally round circle which I cannot understand. Do you have any idea of what may be the reason. I am also experiencing pain. Please let me know what You think it is and what I should do. Thank-you. Maria

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to conditions like plantar fasciitis.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

In severe cases, a steroid injection may be required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
