What Causes Pain Under The Left Rib Cage In A Patient With Breast Cancer?

I am in Remission from breast cancer. Had chemo and radiation txs. Also have diabetes ll. Due to work stress and my health issues I drink wine and take motrin and lorezapam almost on a daily basis. Don t drink enough water. Am 64 female weight 143 and 5 ft 2. Started having pain under left ribcage several mos ago on and off .Amylase is 141 lipase is normal.

Hello,

Pain which is persisting for months beneath rib cage without any other symptoms is unlikely be due to relapse of cancer. It may be due to gastritis related to your alcohol consumption of due to muscle weakness. However, i will still suggest to undergo a CT scan for further evaluation.
