What Causes Pain Under The Left Ribcage That Is Radiating To The Back?

Hello, I recently had my gallbladder out back in July. I also have an ulcer in the bottom of my esophagus as well as a hiatal hernia. Recently I have been experiencing pains under my left ribs cage that goes to my back and sometimes into my left shoulder. Why am I getting pain?

Hello,

Most probably it is due to conditions like costochondritis. We have to rule out neuropathic causes also.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
