What Causes Pain Under The Left Shoulder Blade And Breast?
Hi. I m having pain (day 4) under my left shoulder blade and breast. It s a dull ache with an occasional sharp pain and worsens when I drop my head forward or lay on my back. I ve not had an injury or any trauma to the area. I m not nauseous and I don t have a fever. The pain is temporarily managed with 800mg ibuprofen (I started a much lower dose but this is the amount that works). What could it be? - Jamie, 39 yo female

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.
