What Causes Pain Under The Rib Cage After A Miscarriage?
Hello, I am an 18 year old female and I had a miscarriage approximately 5-6 months ago. I get constant sharp pains under my left rib cage and sometimes it feels like something moves in there. I also get cramps while I m off my period and they worsen when my period is about to start. I rarely ever got cramps, even when I was on my period, before the miscarriage. Are the cramps normal? Is the rib pain normal? Is there anything I can do to fix it?
It is not related to miscarriage. As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
